alot of people have asked me in the past what i think its going to be like when i get over there, well to tell you the truth it changes, i was there in late 2003 when we were getting shot at at least 3 times a day. now however, it is still dangerous but it doesnt seem to be as bad as it was the first time, the guys have done a good job doing what needs to be done. i think this time around its going to be pretty much the same as last time, little sleep, long hours on missions, and maybe getting shot at a couple times day. last time i was there my unit lost 14 men. i will never forget any of these people, not because i knew them personally, but because they were Marines, and they were serving our country. This time around i pray to god that no one is killed, but i know that in war people die. i guess thats it. Do me a favor if your reading this, it doesnt matter if you like bush or even agree with this war, but never forget what our troops are doing, you can be against this war all you want, but dont take it out on our soldiers, sailors, Marines and fly boys are doing.

Alright everyone dont panic...everything is under control, i have figured out how to work this thing, a little bit about this blog is pretty much going to be my day to day (however often i can post) stuff from my deployment in summer of 2005. I cant promise i will be able to post a whole lot cause right now i just dont know what my schedual is going to be like just yet. Anyways i start my ship out on the May 9th, will be getting on a lovely navy ship and being farried across the ocean. It will most likely take a week or 2 to get there and get unloaded, so dont look for me to be posting anything else for at least 3-4 weeks.
